Twitter Fast To Stop Worm - Inspires Confidence in Marketing Community!

Over the weekend, four separate attacks were made against Twitter by a hacker's worm - Read more about it here.

The Twitter staff responded lightning-fast, clearing the accounts and removing thousands of potentially harmful tweets. Full kudos to the Twitter team - that type of instant response and thorough follow-up, coupled wth complete transparency so users knew what was going on, protected most users with almost no interruption in service.

Their actions on this matter show they'll do everything possible to protect Twitter users and their accounts, and has to inspire confidence in the popular Web 2.0 social networking site within our online marketing community.
